Surreality Gallery
Now
and then, I draw something that doesn’t make any sense.
It
has no story behind it, no stated purpose, and no logic. It simply is. It’s a
feeling I got, or something strange that tickled my imagination, or a haunting
thought.
It’s
where words fail.
These
last examples, which are also my favorites, were done on calendar pages, day by
day. When I started one, I had little idea what it would become by the end of
the month.

A Valentine for Elvis Comic
This comic began as a writing prompt--one of the few I managed to bring to a conclusion in the twenty minutes we had to write. It was short and sweet, and with its lack of descriptive details, it was a ready-made script for a comic.
